That sucks SO much, Consuela, I am sorry! I thought I had it bad coming home to a skunked Cayenne. I'd rather deal with skunk over digestive issues any day. It's just one thing after another for you and I am sorry. I hope you're back to full strength energy soon and can enjoy your bionic ear.
Calli I am sorry you're having to look for a job! I know you've been interested in possibly moving anyway, but it always sucks to have those decisions made for you.
I don't know if this appeals to any job seekers here, but I did read that American Express is hiring a TON of people for remote jobs. You do have to have a verifiable set-up at home (I think a consistently quiet place, a separate telephone line, and strong internet, but maybe they set you up with something?). Anyway the key search term to use is Axcess.

Thanks, Sarameg. That Ed specialist position looks intriguing.
Oh no, Consuela, that's too bad. You deserve a fun evening out.
My new sofa is coming tomorrow! But I still have the old one, and just saw that the store delivery policy says their people can't move existing furniture. What do you think are the odds that they will take my old sofa out anyway, if I tip them extra? Also, how much? $20 each?
Haha, I just put up a panicked craigslist ad for a free sofa with no photos or measurements! That should work, right? Now I just hope I can ask the neighbor to help and we can get it out between the two of us. Ugh.
Yay new sofa! Good luck with the old one, I have no idea.
Maybe you can set the 2 sofas up like that bed/sleigh/sofa thing in that castle.
Double-decker couch! [link]
Tep, you know this, but the brain weasels are not your friends.
This needs a like button.

I will definitely do one or the other of those things! Or possibly something else... It is true that the room is technically big enough for both pieces of furniture at once.
