Scrappy, did you grow up on the East Coast? That's the sort of house I was used to growing up in New Jersey, and it's still my very favorite. Give me a porch and built-ins and fireplaces any day.

Yay, hammocks! I don't think I've set up my hammock yet this year, been making do with the folding chaise because I've been wanting sun more than breeze.
Have scheduled my parents' 50th anniversary party, go me! It's in two weeks, so I should probably get on sending out invitations soon. Some of the guests do not have e-mail so I will have to, like, buy paper invitations and write stuff on them and mail them out. So retro.
We're having it at a Thai restaurant, by the way, which my dad thinks is a little odd. My mom said they had Greek food at their wedding for no good reason so why not Thai for the anniversary?
