Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

ita, you're reminding me of Roy Krenkel. He'd get obsessed about some particular detail, look for artists he thought did it well, then draw sketch after sketch. Once it was wagon wheels. "These are all wrong. Remington! Now he could draws wagon wheels!"

Because books.

There's another shooter? Ugh.

I fully support ita drawing all the porn, for the time being anyway.

Calli, I'm so sorry!

The usual heavily armed disaffected young white male opened fire on RCMP officers in Moncton, N.B., killing three and injuring two more. The city is on virtual lockdown while they search for him.

I'm terrifically busy with my ennui.

Husband has started working from home (and we'll see how that goes, with both of us here), but he's brought his monitors and stuff home, and my current computer desk seems like it will fit his stuff best.

So now I want a new desk. And I yearn for one of those desks with crazy cubbyholes and niches and stuff. Like this.

Except way less expensive.
