Thanks, guys. I offered all the recruiters I'm connected to on LinkedIn my resume (four grabs so far) as well as sent a goodbye note to my business users who think I'm one of maybe 3 useful people in the whole department, and the manager has agreed to be a reference for me (he was a reference for me for this job too...). Oh, and I tightened up my overlong resume.
I figure that's fair day 1 activity. Tomorrow? I guess I'll click on the LinkedIn job openings and do as much follow through as possible.

Me, I managed to soldier right through to happy hour, during which I drank a low-alcohol (but tasty) beer very slowly. And then I tried to get a Uber car, but the app didn't work, so I caught a bus home.
I am, apparently, hiding from a personal project I need to finish, but I think tonight is not the night for that.
Three full meals today! And a beer! So excite.
ita, have you ever looking into partial disability? Surely you've got enough medical history to get a serious hearing.

Maybe meara's job is hiring -- they don't have offices at all, right? (I mean, not for her kind of crazy travelling job, but a job like what you do. Working from home is totally a thing now, is what I'm saying.)

This is ridiculous, but I still can't figure out how to have my phone settings. I don't want the sound totally off, because I want to hear phone calls. And sometimes I appreciate the ding I get before appointments. EXCEPT every other Thursday, when I get a reminder about approving timesheets at 6am and it often wakes me up. OK, in the process of typing this, I went to see if I could edit the appointment, even though I didn't create it, and maybe I could! Check back in two weeks....

Took a shower and got dressed and felt bad enough to take my temperature which is up a little bit, so I think actual sick day today. But what I was really coming to tell you is that I broke out the peppermint soap I got from my butcher and it smells surprisingly beefy. I mean, I knew it was made from beef tallow, or whatever it's called, but I didn't expect it to smell like steak with a side of peppermint. I don't think I like it.
