Unusually and exceedingly peculiar and altogether quite impossible to describe

I think I just made -t's phone cheer!

I hope.

I must obey the inscrutable exhortations of my soul—Calvin and Hobbs

Go -t and meara!

I was so proud of myself. Way back when (like, 2013--and not particularly late 2013, either) I got a pair of jeans that looked awful and felt worse. There was other stuff happening, and I never got around to retuning them, so I used them to start a donation pile. A little later there was a bleach incident, so I started another pile of ruined clothes (the thrift store sells them as rags to paper manufacturers). Those piles have been sitting there for months, growing, and getting in my way. Well, yesterday I cleaned out my closets and dressers, bagged the clothes up and took them to the donation center. Ongoing irritant resolved!

Last night, as I was puttering about, I found the jeans that had started it all on the floor.

Punishingly Intricate

I feel like the whole house smells like dog to them probably! But, yes, maybe bringing down one of her blankets is a good step. We've been playing with them and coming up and letting the dog sniff us at least.

Because books.

Last night, as I was puttering about, I found the jeans that had started it all on the floor.

Oof.

'we all walk this earth feeling we are frauds. The trick is to be grateful and hope the caper doesn't end any time soon"

Clearly those jeans are a discard pile seed.

I'm still astounded by the three bags of recycle-quality cloth items I got rid of yesterday, which reclaimed a bunch of floor space. (They were in several boxes/bags, not just a pile on the floor thank goodness.) I mean, I knew I'd accumulated some Stuff, but not that much.

The artist formerly associated with cupcakes.

There were a ton of people booing Courtney Love when she went up to the microphone when Nirvana was accepting the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame thing. Seriously, people?

Booing her at the performance is bad manners, no matter how toxic a person she is.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

I went for a nice medium-sized walk, but once again walked past Goodwill without any stuff to drop off! I guess I will go back out.

I'm terrifically busy with my ennui.

Good news, Fred!

Sometimes I think I might just move up to Vermont, open a bookstore or a vegan restaurant. Adam Schlesinger, z''l

Booing her at the performance is bad manners, no matter how toxic a person she is.

It was during the ceremony part. The two surviving members of Nirvana, plus several members of Kurt's family, went up to the podium to accept the induction. Dave and Krist each went through the whole "Thank you, we really appreciate this, it's great to be a part of this," stuff. Then Kurt's mother went to the microphone, and said a bit like "Kurt would have been amazed to know that his music was appreciated like this, and I know he's looking down on us," or something like that. Then Courtney stepped up to the mic, and the booing started. She didn't even say anything before the booing. And what she did says was fairly standard -- change the names, and it could have been the widow of almost any musician accepting it for him. Then she turned around and hugged Dave Grohl, and there were some more boos.

Crap, in the 4 hrs it took to drive to Mnpls , my flight got delayed 2 hrs. I could have gone out to the farm! Last I'd checked, 2 hrs ago ata Starbucks, it was only 30 m late.

Looks like the same congressional sort is on this flight as was out here; I recognize the secret service crew. Could not place the congress critter amongst the entourage, but I don't know my mn pols well.

UHg, I have a wait ahead of me.
