I have to watch Vikings, because I found out my nephew is a dead ringer for the young guy who plays Athelstan. Seriously, separated-at-birth brothers.

Yes! Where just getting caught up on this season.
I tell you what, you get Hunnam all longer-haired and whiskered-up and stand him next to Travis Fimmel from Vikings--boys could be brothers. Out of context, I get them confused.
I think there is more than a little similarity in the characters they play as well.

It does! Thanks.
James McAvoy. Just really.
I literally just got home from seeing X-Men, and was definitely sitting there thinking, "McAvoy, meh. FASSBENDER." So that's convenient for when we meet them.
EXCELLENT! we should get on that.
Oh, Fassbender. Nom nom nom.

I love Athelstan!
I've only seen S1, because I discovered it after S2 had ended, and S2 isn't prime yet on Amazon. ::shakes tiny fist::
Making myself go to a party that my avoidiness is pulling out all the stops to prevent.
But on the discussion here I am bringing a bottle of vinho verde.
I also just got home from seeing X-Men! Well, after going to post-movie brunch (if you can call it brunch when it's entirely in the afternoon, but there were mimosas and bloody marys, so).
FTR, made 14 minute miles, per Nike ran my fastest mile and my fastest 5K today, and came in 17th out of 30 in my age group, 182/276 overall. Not bad!
Also tripped and fell and banged up my knee, but not too badly.
Thanks for those Facebook likes, the virtual cheers are a real treat.

Yes!
It is still too cold here to drink the vinho verde I have in the fridge. Some day, though!
"Is that Kate swinging?" "Yes, that is her"
or "Yes, she is the one swinging"
Pretty darned sure "that is she" is incorrect, but I can't explain why except that it sounds and feels utterly wrong. Something to do with "she" at the end of a sentence being an implied ellipse but the verb is already present ahead of it in the sentence?
"Is this Erin?"
"Yes, speaking" or "Yes, that's me"
It's like fingernails on a chalkboard every time i hear someone answer the phone and refer to himself or herself in the third person.
