I loved it. I'm pretty stoic when it comes to fictional violence, but I had to quit watching in S3. Perhaps I overinvest in fictional characters. At least in S1, SoA was Shakespearean in scope--S2, it was biblical. I wanted every actor to have an Emmy.

Charlie Hunnam is SO DELICIOUS.
I tell you what, you get Hunnam all longer-haired and whiskered-up and stand him next to Travis Fimmel from Vikings--boys could be brothers. Out of context, I get them confused.
And speaking of Vikings, did we know Katheryn Winnick, who plays Lagertha, is a black belt in both Tae Kwon Do and Karate, and she owns--or did at one time--several Tae Kwon Do schools in Toronto? For all the scrummy mens in Vikings, my takeaway is still, yum, Lagertha.

Oh, you bet. They look like brothers when they're both bearded. And I find them both very yummy.
I didn't know that about Katheryn Winnick! I like her so much, but I feel like I haven't seen her before.
When I looked for her on IMDB, I found out she's been on Bones--recurring, apparently, and House, and a lot of tv. She looks quite different, soft, and an entirely different sort of feminine, in modern dress and makeup. She's gorgeous, no matter what. But Lagertha...I like her best.
Went and saw X-men last night with mac. really liked it.
James McAvoy. Just really.
I have to watch Vikings, because I found out my nephew is a dead ringer for the young guy who plays Athelstan. Seriously, separated-at-birth brothers.
So, I need to watch Vikings once I get through SOA?

I think there is more than a little similarity in the characters they play as well.
