Sorry to be a natter downer.
I will represent the fake urban youth for early 90's fashion. I had my 40" waist jeans and doorknocker earrings. I did have a couple of bodysuits, a velvet mock turtleneck long-sleeve black one got a lot of wear. Also black thick leggings and a black spandex full body suit that I wore a cropped bright blue deep-v sweater over.
I'm sorry, msbelle. Any idea why he was so resistant this morning? Is he anxious about school next week?
Also? Kashi Go Lean Crunch tastes like lightly sweetened styrofoam. Blech.
Man, I loved the grunge years. It was like fashion had decided what I was already wearing (jeans and flannel and thrift shop what-have-you) was in style.
Grunge years were high school for me. So I kinda always envision high schoolers dressing grungy. Even though I know they don't.
Msbelle, is he not getting enough sleep? Or is he staying up when he's supposed to be sleeping? I feel like sleeping on the bathroom floor is something I've only done when I'm feeling super sick. That's just weird.
Oh dear, msbelle.
I have a question about "voter fraud" and "ID requirements". Where I vote, I go to my polling place, tell them my name and address, and they look me up in a huge book. The book has my signature in it. They cover it up, and I sign the book.
a) Is it like that everywhere
b) In order to "vote without an ID", therefore somehow committing voter fraud, you would have to know someones' name, address, and polling place, and that they weren't showing up to vote? It seems unlikely that voter fraud at any large scale could be committed without the complicity of the voting officials and/or the machine makers.
Sophia, the laws are different in different states. Chart: [link]

That's the standard in NYS.

Yes. That's why this kind of voter fraud is a bullshit issue.
Plus here in Washington we don't vote in person anymore. So really anyone could steal your ballot and complete it. I think in theory your signature on the outside of the envelope is supposed to match what's on file, but I don't know how they look at that.
So really anyone could steal your ballot and complete it.
But no one is going to be able to steal enough ballots to have it be statistically significant, right?
I mean, I get that it is bullshit, but it seems like the fact that it is bullshit should be self evident to anyone who has voted (in NYS, at least). I am assuming other non-ID states have some measures in place that mean you can't just go from place to place voting willy nilly!
