And I do have leftover lamb I need to do something with.
The curry suggestion is good. If that does not appeal: kebabs!

the other hand, W4D2 wouldn't have been "easy" when I started
Isn't that wild? I love that.
Curry is an idea. I think I have ingredients for that, although not rice. Hm.
Sorry I missed the FB-smacking. I'm still mad at the asshole kid who was nasty to Barbara's daughter, and need to work off more righteous ire.
So apparently our weather here was all like 12 hours late. It was supposed to be hot yesterday, but NSM. But it was really warm when I went outside at like 9pm. Now it's warm this morning, but will be chilly again by this afternoon! Booo.
I hate waiting on service callbacks. And pro-actively calling gets me nothing (I know it won't, but still.)
I've got all my phone lines forwarded to my home phone, I've got skype set up to call into a meeting so as to not tie up the line....and nothing. And I have to pee.
The having to pee part might be the most annoying of all!
I'm glad I mostly forgot about work all weekend, because now I'm all tied up in knots again and my most difficult internal client is now in with my boss before I had time to tell my boss what it's about. (What it's about is ACTUALLY NOT A BIG DEAL.)
And shit, I have a routine dentist appt tomorrow that I probably need to cancel. WHEN I KNOW MORE.

Oh, he's still going. Have at it, please.
Triumph! I remembered the easy way to open the bag of birdseed (usually I do it the hard way while muttering to myself that there was an easier way).
I take my triumphs where I find them.
argh.
So I had surgery on my ear on Friday, to correct a congenital hearing loss I've had since I was a child. I thought it was going to be minor surgery, but it wasn't, so much. I reacted really badly to the anaesthetic, even with a scopalamine patch to settle my stomach.
I spent all weekend trapped in my house, mostly unable to read, and not able to eat much. And now I'm still suffering from vertigo, which makes driving or taking the bus to work really not a good option.
I lost some weight, but I don't recommend this as a useful diet. For one thing, I can't exercise more than easy walking for two weeks.
