Timelies all!
One nice thing about this hotel is that free wi-fi is available all throughout the hotel, not just in the lobby.

It seems grossly unfair to wake up with a stomachache on the second day of a three-day weekend.
I woke up with a bad cold Friday. We've had gorgeous weather all weekend and a family party today that I probably won't be going to. Damn it.
And I would sell my soul to stop coughing.
That sucks, I'm sorry. At least I didn't have actual plans to be spoilt.
Hooray for wifi, Sheryl!
Got my ass in gear and the last of the grocery shopping is done, I found a new pair of shoes and am now launderating. Need to go water my neighbors plants in a little bit. And let Loki out, he's making like he's dying at the front door.
And that's my exciting Sunday!
I'm not watching the Memorial Day parade that's going by a couple blocks away -- a couple years ago I watched it and ended up with a depression that lasted most of the summer.
I just made a bunch of chocolate-covered strawberries that will go to the family party with or without me. Now I'm going to take a shower and see how I feel.
Although I'm wondering how contagious I am, if this thing started Thursday evening. Probably still moderately contagious, I bet. I don't want to get anyone sick. But I don't want to sit home all by myself on this gorgeous day while the whole family is having grilled meats and beer. Maybe I can sit in a corner with my grilled meats and beer, and wave at people.
I think as long as you don't hug or kiss people, you should be fine, Teppy.
::nods:: Scrappy is wise.
It was partly sunny and cool yesterday for the annual Ski to Sea parade. Event day today? Cold and cloudy with intermittent showers. Isn't that always the way. Sloth, and a cup of hot chocolate before the fire, seems more rewarding.
(Edited to remove annoying, if inadvertant, redundancy)
That sounds really good, Bev.
The cat that was napping on the (not turned on) heating pad finally got up and let me use it and it is helping. Whew.
My daughter was a last minute substitution on the ski/snowboard leg of Ski to Sea with a group of guys from her Ultimate Frisbee team. She has snowboarded maybe a dozen times in her life and the last time was Christmas vacation in 2012 but she likes a challenge. A result was posted for that leg so I can at least confirm that she made it down the hill in one piece!
