I'm struggling to just get through my fiction magazines lately. Novels and nonfiction = too much.
Keep buying books, though. It's a sickness.
Off-topic discussion. Wanna talk about corsets, duct tape, or physics? This is the place. Detailed discussion of any current-season TV must be whitefonted.

I have a big stack on my TBR pile -- Quiet and Sixth Extinction top the list. But I'm currently reading Burial Rites which is so damned depressing, while still being beautiful. I just don't want to read a Big Heavy after it. I also have The Girls of Atomic City waiting.
I am making pretty good progress through The Cool Impossible. Running likes carrots.
I just got back from the theater. I saw Two Noble Kinsmen, a lesser-known Shakespeare play (strictly speaking, Shakespeare and Fletcher, and I'm inclined to think it's heavy on the Fletcher). It was in an outdoor theater, and there was belly dancing and gymnastics before hand, and fire dancers during intermission. The weather was perfect, I was there with friends, and it was just generally a delightful experience.
One of the good things about all the travel I do is it gives me lots of reading time on planes.
It seems grossly unfair to wake up with a stomachache on the second day of a three-day weekend.
Timelies all!
One nice thing about this hotel is that free wi-fi is available all throughout the hotel, not just in the lobby.

I woke up with a bad cold Friday. We've had gorgeous weather all weekend and a family party today that I probably won't be going to. Damn it.
And I would sell my soul to stop coughing.
That sucks, I'm sorry. At least I didn't have actual plans to be spoilt.
Hooray for wifi, Sheryl!
Got my ass in gear and the last of the grocery shopping is done, I found a new pair of shoes and am now launderating. Need to go water my neighbors plants in a little bit. And let Loki out, he's making like he's dying at the front door.
And that's my exciting Sunday!
