Oh, I get it. You just don't like who did the rescuing, that's all. Wishin' I was your boyfriend what's-his-height. Oh wait, he's run off.

It's got to get better.

I hope it does! I'm now on vacation until Tuesday. I have to get up at 4:30am to catch my flight and I'm not in bed yet, but I couldn't have gotten ready earlier because of work. I had to put together an extensive coverage plan.

I'm terrifically busy with my ennui.

It sure is early.

Woman in front of me at security was surprised she couldn't take two cans of coke with her.

I got up at 4:30 only to have my flight delayed by an hour and a half. I went back to a different concourse and now I'm waiting for my breakfast torta at Frontera.

I though leaving before 7:30 was enough to miss commencement traffic.

I was wrong.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

People are idiots.

And I should probably include myself in that -- I woke up early for no reason, so left for work early, and ended up waiting for the bus for almost 15 minutes. Sure, it runs every ten minutes on the 10s, but as it turns out, only from 8 to 9. There's no 7:50 bus, just a 7:44, which I barely missed, and would have known if I had actually looked at the schedule first. Ah well.

Jeez, JHU's commencement starts at 8:40. Way to be a good member of the community and guarantee you'll kerfuck morning commutes in the area.

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

OMG why are puppies so puppyish so early in the morning?

Fostering a Frenchie for a week or so. He is so crazy in the am. He got himself so worked up he threw up twice.

Remember that the frontier of the Rebellion is everywhere. And even the smallest act of insurrection pushes our lines forward.

Brenda, I don't believe you when you say you're fostering a cute, adorable French Bulldog puppy.

Tom makes an excellent point.

Google is so magic -- I couldn't remember any of the details about this story, but googling "NY hospital bequest scandal" brought it right up!

Punishingly Intricate

Tom is absolutely right.

My dog is passed out in the morning after walking usually. Today especially because it's kind of warm and humid out. She's evidently some cold weather mountain hound dog or something. Hot weather is hard on her. Actually, I got Bob a dog DNA test for his bday and we should find out what breeds CB is in a couple of weeks. Fun! I'd be pretty shocked if she isn't hound mixed with some other kind of hound though.

I'm working at home this morning because I'm going to get acupuncture in a bit. My back's been bugging me since the big bike ride a couple of weeks ago. I don't know if the acupuncture will help but at least I'll have a relaxing hour or so there.
