Gah. Got out of the office 30 minutes late. On light rail to the airport. Please, oh please let the security line be quick.

'we all walk this earth feeling we are frauds. The trick is to be grateful and hope the caper doesn't end any time soon"

Wasn't there a tornado sighted near DIA? A bunch of flights are going to be way late, so you may well be OK.

You were a wrong baby who grew up wrong. The wrong kind of wrong. It's better you hear it from a friend.

And I just learned that it's "Math, Science & Physics Day" at Six Flags on Friday. Not something I'm going to go to, but what a good idea!

Other than pausing to take off my shoes and pull out the laptop, I pretty much walked straight through security.

The tornado warning is more northeast and my flight is one time so far.

Sometimes I think I might just move up to Vermont, open a bookstore or a vegan restaurant. Adam Schlesinger, z''l

Heh. It was actually pretty fun when I went when I was in high school. A few days before, in class, we made accelerometers with plastic tubes and rubber bands and weights. Then we were given some worksheets, and while we were on the rides, we were supposed to take measurements of the acceleration at various points, and compute some stuff with that information. But mostly, it was just a day for the dorky kids who took honors physics to get a day at the amusement park.

And a one hour delay. So far.

Kitty has a bad back and kidney stones. Hubby's going to have to start feeding him healthy food instead of yummy food. But that would explain why he's having trouble walking. Poor elderly kitten.

Poor Kitty.

I will never understand how they figure flights and delays. My 6:59 flight is boarding now while the 4:55 flight is still waiting in the terminal.

The more I learn, the more I realize how little I know.

Flightaware.com has a lot of good information. Including their Misery Map: [link]

Healthy kitty food can be yummy, if your husband cooks for him. He don't have to make his main food, but special treats of chicken and stinky fish shouldn't be off the fun list. At least y'all are in a position to appreciate that bad backs suck and what sorts of things might make him feel better?

On week 3 of 'you've got to be kidding me.' It's got to get better.
