Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

ita, I like Shark Sam, but that's probably no surprise

Heh. Thanks.

My job is clamping down on working from home (did I mention we were sold, are now publicly traded, and there have been major management shakeups?). My boss asked me what my position was on it, and I was probably unwise to say "If commuting five days a week is a requirement of the job, I can't do the job."

But at the very least I have to do the HR ADA dance again.

I have been wearing sunglasses inside all day because my right tear duct is either leaking or plugged and sore and the light just kills it. I am assuming Walgreens sells eyepatches.

Fandom means never having to say "But where would I wear that?"

Timelies all!

Still not on Facebook. I spend too much time online as it is.

I'm terrifically busy with my ennui.

I am back to my periodic game of "I just need $9 more dollars to fill get free shipping with this Amazon order..."

Just found a current krav student here. I swear, he's been looking for a reason to talk to me for the last year, and little did he know--training at the Olympic location these past three years was the golden ticket.

Also these instant beans are nasty. Oh, well. Back to the mind numbing task at hand.

Gah. Got out of the office 30 minutes late. On light rail to the airport. Please, oh please let the security line be quick.

'we all walk this earth feeling we are frauds. The trick is to be grateful and hope the caper doesn't end any time soon"

Wasn't there a tornado sighted near DIA? A bunch of flights are going to be way late, so you may well be OK.

You were a wrong baby who grew up wrong. The wrong kind of wrong. It's better you hear it from a friend.

And I just learned that it's "Math, Science & Physics Day" at Six Flags on Friday. Not something I'm going to go to, but what a good idea!

Other than pausing to take off my shoes and pull out the laptop, I pretty much walked straight through security.

The tornado warning is more northeast and my flight is one time so far.

Sometimes I think I might just move up to Vermont, open a bookstore or a vegan restaurant. Adam Schlesinger, z''l

Heh. It was actually pretty fun when I went when I was in high school. A few days before, in class, we made accelerometers with plastic tubes and rubber bands and weights. Then we were given some worksheets, and while we were on the rides, we were supposed to take measurements of the acceleration at various points, and compute some stuff with that information. But mostly, it was just a day for the dorky kids who took honors physics to get a day at the amusement park.

And a one hour delay. So far.
