Natter 72: We Were Unprepared for This
Off-topic discussion. Wanna talk about corsets, duct tape, or physics? This is the place. Detailed discussion of any current-season TV must be whitefonted.
~ma to Maria!
My work motivation this morning is nil. Blah.
The comments on those photos are from people who've never..well, never seen the awkward family picture site, for one. I'd love to pose for those pics--at least it had a clear message. I've taken pictures with strangers that seemed way pal-ish and I didn't have any idea who they were, they just wanted pics with the chick. I have no idea what happened to those photos afterwards...
Go Maria Go!

I'm irrationally proud of myself for continuing to get up at o-dark-thirty to run with my sister twice a week, even though I'm unemployed. And since I'm up so early, I put a load in the wash and made a cake for book club tonight. What I should do now is take a box of books to the post office to mail...
It's a pleasant 75degF here! Still a little hot for me, but after temps in the 90s, I ain't complaining.
The earthmovers are still working in the formerly vacant lot nearby. The house rattles and the cats hide. They start at 7am and stop at 5pm. At least they're punctual and consistent. I wonder if this is doing subtle damage to the structure of the houses around the construction site. In five years will I find a crack in my foundation?
This morning, I have made popsicles, dill pickles, and pickled beets. For lunch, I'm going to make a hot sandwich of fresh mozzarella, tomatoes, and pesto. I wish I had better bread in the house, but not enough to go get any. Next up, zucchini bread! Probably yellow squash bread, I guess. I can't believe it's cool enough to bake.
Has anyone ordered T-shirts from welovefine.com? I'm trying to figure out how large I need to go to fit my boobs.

Sending tons of job~ma to Maria!
Jesse, you are making me hungry, and I've already had breakfast.
I'm not getting how those photos of strangers is supposed to be unsettling. They just look like people posing for a photograph.
Burrell, it's almost time for lunch! OK, not quite.
