I'm not evil again. Why does everyone think that?

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

I can't give away a printer or a sound bar, so I'm not surprised selling computers is difficult.

Nurse doesn't want to come until 3 because she was here Friday.

I tried to tell her I'm immobile until then anyway, and then I don't get much functional time and have a hard time in the morning.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

I hope she agrees to come earlier, ita.

Good news everybody: the local Ace Hardware is open again AND we have a new coffee shop downtown and their sign says they serve sandwiches and ice cream. Ice cream within strolling distance, that's the dream. I may have to go get an afternoon coffee to show my support.

Woe to the fucking wicked.

-t, we are in the same place in the plot! Although, I expect you'll pull ahead quickly.

Our wings are not tired.

Wah, I pretty much can't start evading Zombies until I get north for the summer. Unless I go really early in the morning or very late at night. It has been really warm during daylight hours.

That seems like it deserves a high five. Consider your hand slapped, Debet.

It's kind of genius to harness the same drive that makes me binge watch TV shows to motivate me to go running.

I can't always manage to fit it in before work, but when I can I find dawn runs to be really satisfying, Laura. FWTW.

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

So, I had a very weird experience driving the kids to swim class today. Total gridlock and I could see police up ahead, so I assumed there had been an accident. But when we got closer, I could see it was three or four police vans with traffic cones to guide everyone into a single lane (down from 4), and they were pulling some cars over and having them wait. I got pulled over and the officer told me it was a random safety check. (He took my license over to one of the vans, presumably ran my plates, gave me back my license and sent me on my way.)

I really hope that there is either a terrorist or serial killer on the loose, because I don't much like the alternative (that the NYPD really are just randomly stopping people on the street to ask for their papers).

Wow, Jess. WTF.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Yikes.

brillig

I've been pulled over for random checks, but they call it random sobriety checks and they check everyone. If they pull everyone over or a consistent "every fourth" or whatever, no one calls it profiling. They generally announce when they're doing them, and they still catch lots of people for various things.

hip deep in pie

Yeah, the cops around here do "safety checks" on holidays weekends a lot.
