My pool is listed there as 25 m, but I know it is 25yds. (I know this because other Ys here are competition sites officially rated at 25 yds and my times are the same there.)
I'm ending my week with my annual review discussion. I used to face these with dread, but after this week from hell and some conversations I've had with my functional subcontract supervisor, I'm feeling like we're all on the same page and it'll be candid ( functional!= official subcontract supervisor, more hate for the subcontract because I adore both and it just makes more work for them.) So it'll be fine.

Just remembered to pick up everything off the basement floor, including mats that aren't protecting the workbench, in case I get lotsa water again. I even created 'channels' with spare wood. Won't do anything about what comes from below, but might localize the puddles.

Heh, I was thinking that if it only took me half as long as my training program said than it was probably half the distance, but I could easily be twice as slow as they suppose so the converse doesn't work.

Conversation about the 'award'this week should be interesting, if nothing else( functional supe is PISSED because she believes the work qualifies for a higher calibre of recognition and I can't disagree.) Do we have Buffistae in Amsterdam? I'm going to Greece in July (woo!) and will be flying through there, and several of the flight options would give me one night's layover. I'd rather not pay for a hotel on top of this stupidly expensive flight if I don't have to, but I don't know if I know anyone who lives there.
Ooh, or I could fly through Rome (also with a one-night layover), where I've never been. Hmm...
