We are hungry and can't decide on a place to go, because it's Mother's Day, and places will be mobbed or expensive or both.

Off-topic discussion. Wanna talk about corsets, duct tape, or physics? This is the place. Detailed discussion of any current-season TV must be whitefonted.
I feel like there's got to be a magical category of restaurants that's between a relaxed place you'd go with little kids and a nice place you'd take the mother of grown-ups, but I can't quite define it. Good luck, at any rate. Take-out?
