Why did I make a full pot of coffee this morning? I mean, I know the reason is that it seemed like a good idea at the time, but it really wasn't.
Can you just put the leftover coffee in the fridge, for iced coffee tomorrow?
Off-topic discussion. Wanna talk about corsets, duct tape, or physics? This is the place. Detailed discussion of any current-season TV must be whitefonted.

I need to start a Seventh Day Scientists organization. There's obviously a crying need for it.
I am with Steph. iced coffee.
Sure, it's not a problem, per se, I just honestly don't know what I was thinking when I made that decision. It was only a couple of hours ago, you'd think I could remember.

My guess? "Coffee. Coffeecoffeecoffeecoffee. COFFEE!!!!!!"
You are lucky. I had to make coffee from used grounds this morning. Bleech.
That, yeah, that sounds familiar, Tep. You are probably right.
Equitable distribution of resources to maximize utility fail in the coffee arena today, Sophia. Stupid invisible hand.
Never berate yourself for decisions made before coffee.
Pointing and nodding at aurelia's post.
Got an email from a Boy Scout looking to do his Eagle Scout project at my work. Says he's ready to start! Yay! I have no fucking paperwork from you, despite whatever conversations old boss lady had with you that one Saturday you volunteered.
I've had bad experiences with Boy Scouts. I had to walk away from the desk and come back after a soothing coffee so that I didn't reply to him with baggage (I was so tempted to type: "and when I say 'email to set up an appointment' I don't mean 'email on a Sunday night to say that you are coming Monday at 8am' and show up anyway without confirmation from me, because I am not in on Monday's and if I was, I would only just be reading your email! (that is, if I wasn't having a coffee clutch with the office admin in the kitchen)'".
Yeah, baggage. But I know the BSoA have a long bureaucratic approval process, coupled with the project site also going through iterations of project approval before the red tape process even begins. So to have this kid chomping at the bit to start when I only heard once in passing that he wanted to do his project here only a month or so ago, it pings alarms. Also, there is nothing on file, no project plan with everyone's required signatures.
