I must obey the inscrutable exhortations of my soul—Calvin and Hobbs

That house is gorgeous, flea. It looks like the "after" shots from a home renovation show. I hope you get it.

The artist formerly associated with cupcakes.

Color separation is a thing that happens to other people's wardrobes. (Fabric separation, OTOH, is an art.)

Black, white, b&w stripe, reds and pinks. Anything that doesn't sort into those categories is Other, and all gets washed together.

Minor cool thing about the house - in the living room, behind a picture that's now been taken down, there's a small swath of original plaster with, handwritten in pencil, "Mathews, plaster man, 1896."

Minor weird/not good thing about the house - there's a tiny room that used to have a toilet in it on the 2nd floor, and currently has nothing in it. It's basically a little tiled empty room with a pipe sticking out of the wall.

This house likes carrots, and we haven't even bought it.

'we all walk this earth feeling we are frauds. The trick is to be grateful and hope the caper doesn't end any time soon"

I'm crossing fingers hard here. You deserve a cool house with character.

They told you it had a toilet. That's where Wesley kept the girl locked up. He took away her bucket.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

I actually saw the pictures and thought you could wall in a Harry Potter room if needed.

It's a thought.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

Friday we have plans, but Saturday we should be around after 7 or so. I come with a husband instead of kids, but am also low-key.

The weather is looking a little better on Saturday, right? Anyway, I decided to do the museum on Saturday and then drive over to see you guys around 7:00. Maybe we can all meet at one of your places?

Let's do the planning via email. Profile addresses good?

Ooh, fingers crossed, flea!!

I got back from the place I was working, stayed awake for about an hour, thought "I'll just take a tiny nap" and hit snooze or reset the alarm in various increments for the next three hours. OMG. Thank goodness it's almost summer and still light out at 8pm or I might not have gotten up.

I probably do around four loads of laundry per week.

Our wings are not tired.

I love the house flea! So many lovely features. Excited for you!

The 4 of us each had our own laundry days. I did mine on Mondays and would grab the linens and towels randomly when the spirit or available time moved me. I know DH did his on Tuesday, I don't remember when the boys did theirs anymore because they didn't stick to the schedule very well. They just knew my day wasn't an option. My sorting consists of stuff that gets folded and stuff that gets hung up. Almost everything I wear is light.
