When we landed here you said you needed a few days to get space worthy again and is there somethin' wrong with your bunk?

Back tattoos of the mother is that you are absolutely right - Ame

Was texting with B and remembering how silly KCD gets on pain meds. She said that he was complaining that SHE, waving to B, didn't let him have anything fun. But he didn't say SHE, he said my name. Oooops. Silly man.

Neutrogena discontinued my moisturizer. Damnit. I have a backup, but I really liked this one. Hate going on the hunt again for something with salicy-whatever acid and also moisturizing but not oily and what the hell, retinol or something. Sigh.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

Ah, yes, moisturizer. I keep meaning to try that.

I am making rhubarb fool for one, because it turns out I had exactly enough rhubarb for that.

Because books.

What's a fool (in this context)? I can't keep crumble and cobbler and brown betty and all of them straight, and you don't hear "fool" much anymore!

Punishingly Intricate

Neutrogena discontinued my moisturizer.

Ugh! That's the worst! I love the Mario Badescu stuff I get at Kiss n Makeup, sara. And Debbie always has a bunch of samples so you can try it out.

I don't understand not using moisturizer. My face feels dry just thinking about it! I think it's probably a sort of addiction.

Fool seems to be something like pie filling layered with whipped cream, going by this recipe.

I'm such a drugstore gal, I didn't even think of that, lisah. I'm not up for super spendy (this was like $12 for a tube that lasted 6 weeks or so and even that makes me cringe) but samples is a good start. Cheaper than tubes of rejects. And for crying out loud, I had a great time sharing a table with her at your wedding!

sarameg, was it the Oil-Free Anti-Acne Moisturizer? That's the stuff I've loved for years, but finally had to accept that I just wouldn't be able to get it anymore. I've been using Clean&Clear's Dual-Action Moisturizer, which also has salicylic acid, and it feels very similar. (Bonus: I found it on the shelf at Kroger for way cheaper than the Neutrogena stuff I had to order online.)

Sometimes I think I might just move up to Vermont, open a bookstore or a vegan restaurant. Adam Schlesinger, z''l

For just about every drugstore brand, there are ways to get it a lot cheaper if you pay attention to the coupons and sales.

Healthy skin anti-blemish anti-wrinkle. I'm not sure the anti-wrinkle did anything but it was the perfect blend for not too heavy but still keeping the non-hormone/ non-cystic zits at bay.

I'd gotten it much cheaper (and in bulk) at drugstore.com. When I remembered to order before I ran out. Then it required the $12 and a trip to Ulta (which finally was the only place I could find it offline anymore.)

I fucking hate chasing coupon sales, sorry. I save my Bloodbath, petstore and hardware cards mailers when I know I have something I'm getting there soon, but I'm not going to chase them. I chase after enough, I have little patience for else.
