"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

He took her flower this morning.

I have to admit, this took me to a Monica on Friends place.

Back tattoos of the mother is that you are absolutely right - Ame

Not a reference I recognize, Hec.

Aparently she already had her lymph nodes removed and they are clear (? I think that is what he said). Not sure what treatment is ahead if anything.

Congrats Dr. Esse.

I closed my eyes earlier and took an accidental 2 hour nap. Thankfully I was working at home and already in OT hours. Otherwise, eeeeep.

I'm terrifically busy with my ennui.

Oh, man, this episode of CSI is a backdoor pilot for a CSI: CYBERCRIMES, and it is so awful.

Because books.

Backdoor pilots have not been faring well this week.

I'm so sorry about CJ's teacher, Suzi, but I'm glad he's feeling better about senior year.

Why isn't everyone pelting me with JOY, dammit? - Zenkitty

Oh, man, this episode of CSI is a backdoor pilot for a CSI: CYBERCRIMES, and it is so awful.

I was explaining earlier over in Supernatural how this one made the one on Supernatural look brilliant by comparison. The writing was PAINFUL, and the computer graphics seriously looked like they were lifted from the movie Weird Science.

Seconded. It's good he has a plan. Much ~ma for his teacher.

And mucho congrats to Dr. Esse, OTD (which can't ever mean anything except On Time Delivery to me, but yay, you!)

Fandom means never having to say "But where would I wear that?"

Congrats, Dr. Esse!

The writing was so bad. SO BAD. That bit where the scary computer avatar dissolved into bits was...wow.

Circa 1984 style, right? And yet still not as awkward as the writing.

Sometimes I think I might just move up to Vermont, open a bookstore or a vegan restaurant. Adam Schlesinger, z''l

This being the internet, I assume that stands for One True Doctorate?

It totally does now.

Congratulations, Dr. Esse!

Compassionately intolerant

Congrats, Dr. Esse!

Double seconded. Yay DebetEsse!

Man. I cannot agree more with the CSI snark. That was just painful. Not only did it scream HEY, you are going to see this character again, REMEMBER them! But, yeah, the cgi for a show that is supposed to be about tech crime just made me cringe. Yikes.

I don't mind seeing Patricia Arquette on my screen again, but I have a feeling she won't be on it for long. As much as people derided CSI:Orange for it's terrible acting and effects, I think this one will be worse, and not of interest to the older audiences that love NCIS and CSI:Original.
