STELLAAAAAAA
Anyone in need of empty DS game cases? In a post-DS home, we still have several of these.
For reasons I still don't get, I was nicknamed Stella in Prague. Somewhere I have a collection of Stella Artois coasters that my friends would liberate from pivovices and deposit outside my door when they stumbled in. I still have no idea. Frankly, I don't think they do either. I didn't even drink beer and I certainly did not resemble the TW character in any respect.
My aunt called me to see if it was ok to put me on a couch for one night for the service, as all the hotels in town are booked up and another couple just did a last minute rsvp. No problem. She started telling me about all the people coming. This memorial service is not going to be somber or reverent. Frank would've loved it. Everybody's been sharing stories with her, and they are hilarious. Cause Frank was hilarious.
When we were saying our goodbyes, I told her I love you and she said "Me, too. I mean, I love you, not me! Oh I didn't even need Frank here to call that out. He was annoyingly pedantic." And then she told me it reminded her of how they got engaged." I proposed to him. Well, I said, it's been 2 years, if you want to marry me, I need to know otherwise I need to start looking for someone who will. He put his head in his hands for all of 15 seconds and said 'Well then, I guess we better cause otherwise I have to go out looking and that's just too much work.' 2 weeks later, he shows up with a shoebox strapped to his bike. I'm thinking a wedding ring, he's just wrapped it up well. He's giddy and saying how he got me the best thing ever. I open up the box, it is a pair of down booties. He was so pleased with himself. I still have the booties. He was right."
Awww!
Aw!
I just noticed on tv that Danny Strong wrote Lee Daniels' The Butler. He really is doing well, huh? (I mean, the movie is whatever, but it's a Feature Film!)
He's also writing the two Mockingjay movies, parts 1 and 2.
Oh, word? I guess those are about politics, huh?
I was thinking that, too. It was the most political out of the three books.
I am *so* over this foot. I *will* be driving by tomorrow afternoon. I doubt I'll be happy about it.
I think the chronic migraine means some things hurt more, some hurt less (like cuts--enh, whatever, once the swelling goes down). Whatever part of the foot thing is causing pain (inflammation) I wonder if I'm increasingly susceptible to whining about it.
