I'm sorry for your loss, ita.
I'm sorry about your uncle, Sheryl.
Oh Sheryl, I'm sorry.
I'm sorry, Sheryl.
Sheryl and ita, I'm sorry.
So I appear to have acquire a teeny bit of a sunburn on my shoulders and back. From the pool. The indoor pool. Where there is a swath of light about 6' wide in the afternoons now. I guess passing through that 182 times when those bits of skin probably haven't seen sunlight since October is sufficient. Whacky.
My face feels like it has a bit more, but that I get- between this morning at market and wandering around E.C this morning until my appointment, it was in full sun whereas the rest of me was covered.
OMG, I am so tired. And sunburnt. Except for maybe 45 minutes today, I've been gogoGO until I sat down to watch last week's COSMOS (resigned to the fact my parents will call me during airing) and found myself letting the commercials play to close my eyes.
I'm so sorry, ita and Sheryl.
Staying at a nice quaint B&B with very thin walls - and the couple next to us are doing it very loudly.
Yeah, that's about all that's on my mind right now.
Condolences, ita and Sheryl.
Never did find out what happened, but the ambulance left with lights and siren, so someone was hurt.
And now it's midnight on a Sunday morning and I believe it's Easter and the Elks across the street are still jamming loud enough for me to hear in my bedroom. Why don't they have to obey the noise ordinances?
Happy Easter to all who celebrate!
I just made all-buckwheat pancakes, and they were terrific! I smothered them in smushed fresh strawberries and vanilla whipped cream, which tasted all fresh and spring-like, while the pancakes were warm and nutty and drenched in butter.
I'm so sorry about your uncle, Sheryl.
That sounds wonderful, Calli.
Hope the Elks shut up and let you sleep, Zen.
I feel you on the Elks, Zen. I woke up at about 2 am to the sound of a party, but the thing that had woken me up was that, at said party, voice majors were doing their voice major thing.
Fuck cancer.
I am about to finish my tea, then go run from Zombies. Only one or two more runs here after this.
Then I come back, shower, and head to my final church service here. It's always interesting to see how Unitarians talk about Major Christian Holidays: Easter, especially. We can't so much just say, "Each night a child is born is a holy night" with this one.
Then back here for packing until I get a call from a lady who maybe might take over my lease (I really hope so. It would save me $700). Then writing. I do not want to write. But I need a draft of this thing, like, yesterday. And I have to present it on Wednesday to the people here. And then there's that other thing I need to write and fuck me, but I graduate in less than 2 weeks.
