Bath salts, anyone?
'Dirty Girls'
Off-topic discussion. Wanna talk about corsets, duct tape, or physics? This is the place. Detailed discussion of any current-season TV must be whitefonted.
I tried with paper, but I ended up with notes to myself on scraps of paper all over the place that never were right in front of me when I needed to be reminded of whatever it was I was supposed to do. Even Dayplanners and whatnot I had a tough time with.
A recent New Yorker cartoon came pretty close to the truth on electronic schedules, at least for me:
I think I've mentioned here that a couple of years ago I found a paper to-do list from 1989 and noticed that there were only two tasks I still hadn't completed. I came in over the weekend for a few weeks and finished both them. On the next Monday morning I strutted up and down the hallway bragging "I've completely finished the 80's!!!"
But Outlook never forgets and you can't loose it in the back of a file drawer like a paper list, so it is easy to see that the 90's will be a harder problem to complete. There are still 27 tasks outstanding, mostly analytic techniques I promised to learn and papers or grants I promised to write. I'm thinking that by 2024 I should be pretty close.
Oh, well, yes, I have come to accept that some days my To Do list is just organizing all the things that I'm going to ignore. But at least they are organized.
I patted myself on the back yesterday when I realized I'd gotten up, made coffee, done two loads of laundry and 2 drainers full of dishes, gotten the kids to school, volunteered for half an hour at the school library, taken Casper to the orthodontist, dropped off some pants at the dry cleaner and mailed a letter, all before 11am. Then I went to work.
I failed at calling a babysitting, because I mostly fail at anything involving the telephone.

Hahahhaha. Yes.
In today's WTF headline/news story:
I liked the line "He, and his severed penis, were taken to Cedars-Sinai." It's like "He and his estranged wife" or something. Like they had to convince the penis to go to the same location as the idiot who broke up with him/it.
Tep (or anyone who might know) - I took a Claritin this morning, think I followed it up with a Zyrtec as I often do and just now added an Allegra to the mix (because I didn't have my preventative med that I know doesn't interact with the others and I have an annoying amount of allergy symptoms still). My heart's not going to explode or anything, right?

That's a whole lot of antihistamines you've got going on there! I feel your pain, because my head is stuffy but my nose is also runny. Stupid pollen.
I strongly suspect you'll live, but I also don't think that's a good combination to repeat. It really IS a whole lot of antihistamines. Have you tried taking 2 Claritin (or 2 Zyrtec or 2 Allegra) -- without any additional antihistamine? Sometimes doubling up on the same one works really well.
Also, now that Nasacort is OTC, have you tried adding that? It'll take a week or so to really take effect, but it should be helpful.
OMG, work person IM'ing me with only "hi Brenda." Tell me what you want and I'll answer. Otherwise you have just made IM more inconvenient than email.
