Mal: How come you didn't turn on me, Jayne? Jayne: Money wasn't good enough. Mal: What happens when it is? Jayne: Well... that'll be an interesting day.

Cats to become a rabbit should gather immediately now here

I did my homework in school, in other classes mostly. My mother said she thought it was weird that I rarely did homework at home, but since I had an A average and wasn't in trouble at school, she figured she just didn't want to argue with me!

We are Buffistas. This isn't our first apocalypse. -- Pix

I was going to go to work before court today, but I just hit a wall. So instead I'm going to have a slightly more leisurely morning in which I can shower and dress and eat and put on my face, and not race out of the house with wet hair and no breakfast.

Good luck to your parents today, Jesse.

'we all walk this earth feeling we are frauds. The trick is to be grateful and hope the caper doesn't end any time soon"

I can't remember my mom ever checking on my homework or asking me about it. Not a great model for parenting.

I am trying really hard to remember to order my mother flowers for when I'm out of town on her bday next week.

how would your mother react to a Spartacus attack?

If things are not put into my phone/computer calendar they do not happen. If they are appointments or thing that require early action, they must have alarms that go off days in advance and remind everyday thereafter.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

Man, I just realized that whenever people ask me where I was working before I came here I could have been saying I was a beekeeper. Why have i not been doing that? Lost opportunities, -t.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

how would your mother react to a Spartacus attack?

Aw, that's nice, but she really does have a ton of friends reaching out and stuff. And she said when I said I felt bad for missing her birthday, "I'm not six!"

I'm terrifically busy with my ennui.

I have to do this thing for an interview tomorrow, and it's due at noonish today, and I don't wanna.

Good Friday is Work Holiday, but we have tons on the books to ship. Kinda typical, drivers and hourly workers are used to this on Holidays, they get both Holiday pay and their hourly wages when they have to work. I, however, am salaried non-exempt and have previously been told to stay home. Unlike salaried exempt, I would be eligible for both Holiday pay and time and a half if I work (I think).

I could really use a day off when mac is in school, but unclear what new boss will decide.

FTR, last night's redo of the missing homework was a semi-disaster. It got done, but it was the lowest level of done possible. Misspellings, wrong capitalizations, missing punctuation, not answering the full question - lazy lazy lazy, so I marked up the questions sheet with what needed to be changed and things went downhill from there. I am shocked that I only raised my voice once and I am proud of mac that he did not try to use any electronics in defiance, but MAN. LONG slog this will be. Zero drive to do good work.

Text just sent to my son - "When you mom tells you not to take the horse's head to school and you do anyway - posting a picture online isn't the smartest move."
