My mother has also had several basal cell carcinomas removed over the last 25+ years. (We are very pale people.) One was deep enough that it required two stitches, but they've otherwise been problem free.

Off-topic discussion. Wanna talk about corsets, duct tape, or physics? This is the place. Detailed discussion of any current-season TV must be whitefonted.
Good plan, Suzi.
Thanks Steph, that does reassure. I'm not stressing over it, or trying not to anyway.
Also how is your stepdad only about 10 years older than me? Am I really that much older than you? Dang, you whipper snapper!

Ahahaha, NOPE. He's 12 years younger than my mom, which makes him 13 years older than me. I'll be 43 in 2 months. (I occasionally get weirded out by the fact that my stepdad is within the age range of Men I Would Date Were I Single. So I try not to think about it.)
Okay, phew!
Like Tep, not sure this will help. But my 92 year old Mom who spent her time in California during the time when tanning was considered healthy has had basal skin cancer removed every few years or so since she was fifty. Just an inconvenience.
I rescued a dog today and put him back in what I thought was his yard on the right side of the gate, only to then realize, "Wait it might not be his yard" (there was already a dog there). So I left a note saying, "I left a dalmatian in the yard, is it yours?" Luckily it was.
In other news, Noah stuck up for Grace in the most amazing way.
K is leaving for 4 days and I am primary mom until she gets back. I'm tired about this.
"I left a dalmatian in the yard, is it yours?"This may be my favorite note of all time.
mac's English teacher responded to my email to her from over 2 WEEKS AGO and closed with "Please let me know what I can do to help him get to a passing grade."
In the email I sent her I asked some specific questions:
Did he not do his personal narrative re-write? I see it is marked as a Z.
Is tutoring a time where he can ask questions about anything he is having trouble with, or is it extra time without instruction to get work done?
What are some items I could be working with him at home on?
She did not address any of these and with 3 days left n the 6 weeks sends an email of concern. I am livid with her and do not see how he can get a passing grade at this point.
Oh dear, msbelle. That does not sound actually helpful.
I am trying to give her the benefit of the doubt and do the same for mac, but 2 weeks to respond to my email does not sit right with me.
Then from her class webpage, which is supposed to be my source for getting information
"** To get the weekly lesson plan, please go to Document Manager and find the corresponding week. "
so I go to Document Manager
"Attachments:

NOTHING FOR THIS WEEK!!!
And under last week, this is what it has for his class:
"Monday April 7 Library- Read The Outsiders Tuesday, April 8 The Outsiders Wednesday, April 9 The Outsiders Thursday, April 10 The Outsiders Friday, April 11 Conference Reading Day "
Does that look like there is any paperwork due? How would I know?
I can't get to sleep I am so upset.
