Simon: I'm trying to put this as delicately as I can... How do I know you won't kill me in my sleep? Mal: You don't know me, son. So let me explain this to you once: If I ever kill you, you'll be awake, you'll be facing me, and you'll be armed.

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

Oof. So the shots were coming from inside the crashed van, and when police tried to stop it the driver took off. Driver dead. Baby okay. And the news had the location off by a couple of miles.

No word on any cats who may or may not have been involved. Probably fled the scene.

Our wings are not tired.

Go -t. I bought the Zombies app, but haven't started because too crazed still. I may have to wait until I get up north or elude them via treadmill because it will be too warm here to be outside.

My exciting morning has not involved ambulances, for which I am grateful. Instead it involved bed linens! I purchased new sets for all the bedrooms in anticipation of showing the house. I did find that I absolutely cannot move our king size pillow top mattress by myself to put the bed skirt down, so I will need the guys to help.

I made a website to show off the house and all its pretty details. There will be one of those signs below the For Sale sign with the site address. No one looking at the house will be without internet access. I can picture the people in the park across the street browsing on their phones now. I really have to get the real pictures inserted quick. Right now I have castles and 'not my house' pictures as place holders while I work on layout and text. My realtor friend found it when she was Google checking her name. Ooops! I don't think the Latin blurbs are going to help sell the house.

Work, yeah, that is what I am supposed to be doing.

Fandom means never having to say "But where would I wear that?"

Timelies all!

Going to a matinee of CA:TWS this afternoon. Then I can catch up on stuff. Meanwhile, I'm trying to type around Nova again.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

No word on any cats who may or may not have been involved. Probably fled the scene.

That sounds about right.

Caught up with my mother this morning, before she went off to a friends's father's funeral. I have to confess I'm glad to have the time time alone. And it sounds like she's been really busy all week, so will be happy for alone time this weekend as well, which is good. It sounds like my father has been up and down as they change meds, but is happier, at least. And there's a place he could move into now! If the hospital thinks it's time. So in short, I think everything is OK.

'we all walk this earth feeling we are frauds. The trick is to be grateful and hope the caper doesn't end any time soon"

I'm getting geared up to drop stuff off at the Hazardous Waste Recycling 'event' this morning. I am so unexcited.

That is good to hear, Jesse.

not your mom's socks.

We moved the bed from one side of the room to the other! This does not make me hate the bathroom in this house any less, but I think I like the change.

ION, a world of mine is the stretch goal this weekend for Storium's kickstarter. I am swinging between delight and fear, as is the way of my people.

Link deleted because wrong link. Doh.

Ugh, is that today? Is that for like paint and stuff? Do you know how often they do it? We have a ton of crap in the basement that needs to be properly disposed of, but today is clearly not the day.

Moving the bed to a different place in the room recently totally changed the paint color. It was too blue and I was starting to hate it, but post move it's much more grey. So odd. But it's not just me, my sister remarked upon it immediately.
