Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

Where is everyone?

Around the corner.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Reading the amazing comments on this dude's announcement about the millions he just raised to start a website for ladies.

Cats to become a rabbit should gather immediately now here

I really, really miss June Thomas on Slate Culture Gabfest. Does anyone know if she talks anywhere else?

Vicious Dog Call - Neatorama

Officer Dan Waskiewicz of the Baltimore Police Department responded to a call about a vicious dog chasing kids. He later wrote about the experience:

I followed the dog into an ally to see how it was acting. Going on my own approach, being a dog lover, I got out of my car and called the "vicious dog" over to me. The dog came over with it's tail between it's legs and panting. I grabbed my water bottle and the dog sat down next to me and began licking my pants. I started giving the dog water. I brought the dog over and waited for the pound to show up. My partner was not a fan of dogs and was startled by my approach. I suggested to him that this dog cannot be put down, and should be taken to a shelter. We took it upon ourselves to take the dog to the shelter, and transported it in the back seat in the back of our patrol car. Then I decided that I wanted to keep the dog, and spoke to the shelter about the steps to take to adopt it.

Plus there's a cute picture!

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Speaking of the big-T, my sister is all asquee because Prince has joined: [link] I'm just odded out by the idea of him a) typing b) typing "selfie'. But she's happy.

I look more rad than Lutheranism

Really pretty, Tep! Although as soon as I saw it I realized I was subconsciously expecting something blue.

Since my dress is too long and needs to be shortened [note to self: CALL THE TAILOR, YOU SLACKER], I thought about using the cut-off fabric to wrap the stems. I mentioned this to Tim, and he said "Aren't our colors blue and silver?* You should wrap the stems in silver ribbon." Which is going to look awesome.

*(I forgot to tell him no, our colors are blush and bashful.)

My sister had a talisiamen for Dad in her bouquet, I think a small photo.

I've seen that on the various (okay, only 2) wedding websites I read. And I would do that for Tim's mom, except the critters are SO much more *her.* Everyone will get it right away.

I need to figure out how to make a charm of the Buffy-font B so I can attach it to my bouquet, because you damn bet I want my Buffistas there with me in spirit. I guess maybe print out a big Buffy-font B, trace it on fabric, and then run a loop of thread through it and tie the thread to the stems?
