nice to see you, ita!

I was out of town for most of last week, and so, I have been shocked to see TWOP boards closing down. The content will be archived, but removed from public viewing.
This is all too much WTF the fuck for me. Twop is something I've followed and participated in (previously more actively than the present) and I cannot get over how unceremoniously its demise is.
It's like Salon all over again.
I made paella!
...you guys, I have so much paella. Guess I won't need to cook the rest of the week?
-t, I meant to say earlier CONGRATS on your 5K! It feels so good to start running; I'll warn you, though, races are addictive!
Thanks, Pix! I can see how they would be.
Hooray paella!
Soup made. Time to make marbled tea eggs?
So I went to see my five-year-old cousin in a play today, and it was hilarious! All K to third grade. Cute.
I am full of snot. So much snot.
Had to get more tissue, so I headed out to the store. First I stopped at Ace Hardware to return a defective rod. Then I thought how nice it would be to get some Trader Joe's food since the kitchen is bare. As I pulled into the parking lot I was reminded that there was a Home Goods store next to TJ's and I need a new floor lamp for the living room. So I went there first but didn't find anything. Got salads, oatmeal, gyoza, and more. So now I'm headed home again but still need tissues. I stopped at Target and after I grabbed a 3-pack I looked at their floor lamps and found one I really like. Also got a tap light, picture hanging supplies, and some chocolate. Finally headed home but made a last stop at Office Max for a dry erase board that I could stick to my curved fridge door.
Now I'm blowing my nose on some expensive tissues.
I have to use the expensive tissues, the ones with the lotion. Two plain tissues in, and my nose is red and peeling. I have delicate nose skin, apparently. I'll buy the damn expensive tissues and save those pennies elsewhere. Cheap TP, prob, because the other end don't care.
It's still raining here, but it cleared this afternoon. The poor workers trying to clear the landslide site of bodies. Even the dogs are depressed. They've found most of the missing, though, alive and out of touch. Only something like 14 still unaccounted for, out of an initial 200.
For your amusement: a new restaurant that opened near our house: [link] The jokes have been endless (like the caption to the photo, which was said by a friend: "One does not simply walk into Mario's").
I appear to be allergic to the expensive lotion tissues. They make me sneeze. Ah the irony.
"One does not simply walk into Mario's"
I will drive to get the take-out wings, though I do not know the way.
