Wolverine - The Musical
Bookmarked for later, as a reward for grading. Thank you!
OK, this is something Buffistas would appreciate:
Also bookmarked, thank you!
Hello everybody, and esp hello to ita, you've been missed. I've missed you. And now I really must go grade.
The bathroom renovation I fantasize about features a pocket door so there's more usable floor space.
Apparently, this is a sunday morning where I drink a pot of coffee, am layered with cats on the couch and doze off and dream I'm snuggled in bed under the comforter. Better than the shower dreams.
But they've abandoned me (which woke me,) so I guess I'll go stain the deck furniture. No point in showering for that!
I hate the need to pee dreams because I am somehow aware, in my dream, that I am dreaming and that I should get up and pee, but I don't want to!
I always get worried in pee dreams that I'll actually pee. That's usually what makes me wake up, not the murderous creature chasing me, or the overflowing toilets, or whatever other images my brain thinks up.
Deck furniture stained. Everything smells burnt and tastes sweet. Ah, fumes.
Next year, it'll probably be time to sand down again.
It's been raining enough that the springs in my basement have arrived. It's only towel-worthy, but honestly, I don't think I've seen them in a while.
It's all windy and rainy and gross out there.
Hello, ita! Good to see your font again. Sorry your doctors are still being difficult.
Suzi, thanks for writing up your Grand Canyon experiences. That trip is on my bucket list, for sure.
Big props to everyone running and marathoning. I aspire to be one of you!
I'm done with the annual conference and about to board the plane for home. I've discovered the joy of short commuter flights on small planes. Two hour flight, no connection, and home! Conference was low-key this year, thankfully.
The rain has become wintry mix here. That's one nasty lamb.
Burrell, I've done that. I mean, I've got wonky wiring, but that usually happens if I'm sick too
So my oldest niece has moved home to take a job in SF. Sounds like her boyfriend will be moving here as well, once he finds a job, and they'll get a place together (!). This is the little girl I used to coach soccer for, and tried to read The Hobbit to, but she was too scared of it. And now she's all grown up with a professional job, even if she is living in her old bedroom for a few months.
We all ran together in the redwoods this morning, which was nice if a bit muddy, and this afternoon I'm going to make a new-to-me lemon pie. And go to BB&B for a new salad spinner: drying lettuce by hand is too much hassle for this lazy person.
