But I understand. You gave up everything you had to find me. And you found me broken. It's hard for you.

Always Anti-fascist!

Burrell, I've done that. I mean, I've got wonky wiring, but that usually happens if I'm sick too

We are Buffistas. This isn't our first apocalypse. -- Pix

So my oldest niece has moved home to take a job in SF. Sounds like her boyfriend will be moving here as well, once he finds a job, and they'll get a place together (!). This is the little girl I used to coach soccer for, and tried to read The Hobbit to, but she was too scared of it. And now she's all grown up with a professional job, even if she is living in her old bedroom for a few months.

We all ran together in the redwoods this morning, which was nice if a bit muddy, and this afternoon I'm going to make a new-to-me lemon pie. And go to BB&B for a new salad spinner: drying lettuce by hand is too much hassle for this lazy person.

Sounds like a nice sunday! Crazy how fast kids grow up.

Was going to head to the pool, but I just got sat on by the cats and so I'm trapped for a bit.

"Faded like the lilac, he thought."

Haha sarameg. It's never too long ago for acrimony!

My last bathroom dream was the opposite...it was at a walmart or something and the door was huge! Massive metal door I had to heave aside. So I woke up and went to the bathroom, where I have a pocket door. It's fine, subconscious!

This morning's dream was that I was wearing a fancy dress in a fancy hotel but no shoes. I got in trouble for it but didn't know where they were, so was speculating if I should go back to my room and get my slippers instead. And then I rode down the carpeted escalator which should have been a clue.

Initial report on the beet pesto: very good! Flavorful and moist but not very sweet.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

Birds fed, avocados and grapes watered, some dishes washed, and free-standing lattice "privacy screens" ordered. I'm planning on using those last to hold up the roses from taking over the porch, mainly, for which I need three panels, but the stands were easiest to get in a pack of ten (two for each panel), so I got two extra panels that I hope will be okay as a makeshift dog barrier for the garage. And if that doesn't work I'm sure I can find some other use for them.

SERIOUSLY?!! I just looked outside and it is slushing. Or really small hail. The fuck?

And now I've got to walk in it to go to the pool, ook.

Yeah, we got that yesterday. But now it's 52, so if you're getting our weather a day later, you get warmer weather tomorrow.

And almost 70 and sunny tomorrow for Opening Day, thank ya Lord. Let's play some damn baseball already.

All sorrows can be borne if you put them into a story. Tell me a story.

You are quite welcome.
