Early: So is it still her room when it's empty? Does the room, the thing, have purpose? Or do we -- what's the word? Simon: I really can't help you. Early: The plan is to take your sister. Get the reward, which is substantial. 'Imbue.' That's the word.

How am I the first to note the shocking news that Gwyneth Paltrow is getting a divorce?

Okay, I don't care either.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

but we have really good A/C.

But apparently crappy jobs??

How am I the first to note the shocking news that Gwyneth Paltrow is getting a divorce?

Huh! I actually am sort of surprised.

Remember Brian Bloom from that era?

Except.... wasn't Dusty/Lily from As The World Turns? Still CBS, though!

Librarian Warlord

Sophia, the tenured faculty members will still have their regular offices, but the library has "faculty study offices" that have been used when one of them has a big research project going on, or for visiting faculty, etc. the two I have to kick out have been in the offices for more than a year. I don't care, because there are still other offices available. The Dean, however, apparently cares.

I am sure G will have a perfect divorce, and GOOP will somehow show off some decorating tips for her new houses as a singleish mother.

All sorrows can be borne if you put them into a story. Tell me a story.

Sure? I don't remember which characters were on which show.

Is anyone willing to offer an opinion on a resume thing for me?

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

And in more stupid decision news, the Governor of California appointed someone as the new State librarian today, except the person he appointed isn't actually a librarian.

A dress should be tight enough to show you're a woman but loose enough to flee from zombies. — Ginger

The fact that GP is referring to the divorce as "conscious uncoupling" makes me want to yark.

I have decided to leave work and go home before I have to yell at anyone else today.

Because books.

Lee, that makes no sense.

The fact that GP is referring to the divorce as "conscious uncoupling" makes me want to yark.

Well, of course she is.

I remember when I used to actually like her.

You were a wrong baby who grew up wrong. The wrong kind of wrong. It's better you hear it from a friend.

The fact that GP is referring to the divorce as "conscious uncoupling" makes me want to yark.

Unlike all those other couples who divorce by accident. Or, I don't know, fall off one another in a fit of narcolepsy?
