Damn it! You know what? I'm sick of this crap. I'm sick of being the guy who eats insects and gets the funny syphilis. As of this moment, it's over. I'm finished being everybody's butt monkey!

Mmm, chili sounds so good. I wonder if I have any in the freezer..

I think I might blow off running until tomorrow. I can still be on track training-wise and today I am tired. And the Fuelband says I've reached my exercise goal already.

brillig

Last night I made chicken alfredo with cut up chicken breast, a jar of sauce, and veggie noodles. This sounds like kindergarten stuff to the experienced cooks, but this was my first time cooking with raw chicken. Slimy little devil. I picked the knife Hubby uses for veggies, too, not for meat. I didn't know they were categorized.

It was quite yummy, the chicken was tender, the sauce not bad--should have added more garlic--and the noodles were perfect. Yay, me.

Brava, Connie!

I took a nap and vacuumed. Which is something.

Later I will make steel-cut oatmeal risotto with mushrooms and broccoli, which is very tasty (especially if you use chicken broth) and not too unhealthy.

Ooh, that sounds great! Someday I will be able to get oatmeal back into my diet.

Because books.

Oh god, flea. Such a pain.

We're having pancakes and bacon for dinner because I'm grumpy.

I hope that helps, Amy. Nom.

Ew, what a PITA, flea. Dang.

we both placed 16th in our age groups, and under 200 overall, out of 2200 women, yay!)

Wow, that's very impressive!!

Also, I blame all of you for the fact that I ended up having an empanada for lunch. It was supposed to be chorizo, but I'm pretty sure he messed up and gave me a chicken curry one instead.
