information libertarian

Oh my god, people, not buying a house is exhausting. We decided not to get in a bidding war. The house had good bones but so many things need to be done that it just added up to too much.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

Seems like a good call. I hope you guys can find something that suits you that isn't quite so in demand!

Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

Today I've spent hours with my friend and her seven year old daughter, and now I'm messaging with my other friend's sixteen year old daughter. The younger girl was both easier to understand and easier to hang out with. Teen years are hard; I don't know anything about most of the stuff she likes (Black Veil Brides?) so we have little in common. Luckily "talking" mostly involves listening and making appropriate noises. At least with the little girl, we both like dinosaurs, funny faces, and songs about farts.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

You're a good friend, Zen.

And I just remembered where the pot roast notion actually came from -- the week-old half bottle of red wine on my counter.

It's five thousand for kissing, ten thousand for snuggling... End of list.

Flea you made the right call, I think. More houses are coming on the market next month.

Punishingly Intricate

I'm not a cross-country ski person, but I think there's the Kal-Haven Trail,

We've ridden bikes on the Kal-Haven Trail! I bet it would be good for cross-country skiing.

I got my hair cut and came home and my tummy wasn't feeling well so I sent Bob out to have dinner on his own. I had an english muffin with peanut butter. Now I'm hungry for real! I want pot roast and buffalo chicken dip and empanadas. None of those things are here.

Right? Don't all of those sound delicious?

I would also like all those things. But I just FINALLY went and worked out (I got up at about 9AM. Ate some breakfast, and thought "I should go work out now"....and didn't leave the house until 5:45PM to do so. But I AM caught up on Scandal now?)

My plan is to go over to Trader Joe's and buy something. Though I should just cook up a piece of fish and some veggies from my freezer. I'm supposed to go to a party later, so I need to go buy a six pack anyway.

More houses will be around, flea! I have faith.

I'm catching up on Scandal, now! Well, watching the episode from two weeks ago now, we'll see how I proceed from here, got a lot of backlog on the DVR.

And I've been starving all day. And eating all day because of it, but then getting hungry again seems like too soon after I eat. Weird.
