So, our agent just emailed to say there's an offer on the house and if we want to offer as well we need to do it today. I have not even been to the house yet! I hate this game. I do not make decisions quickly.

Off-topic discussion. Wanna talk about corsets, duct tape, or physics? This is the place. Detailed discussion of any current-season TV must be whitefonted.
It looks like they had a sectional: [link]
That's nuts, flea!
I know! This is Cincinnati, Ohio! Not SF or something!
I love the house flea. I kinda love the cabinets.
The hallway upstairs looks like there may be some usable space on the landing.
So, does anyone know anything about Kalamazoo, MI? There's a job opening there that looks right up my alley. But I don't really know from southwestern Michigan except that there's a strong conservative Christian element, which isn't my thing. But the Wikipedia entry on Kalamazoo shows Pride flags, and there's a Unitarian Universalist congregation, which seems promising.
My husband went to college there for many years! (as did our friend who is the reason that we met.) It's also about 45 minutes from his hometown in SW MI (some of his family is fairly conservative, some not at all...not many are conservative and Christian). If you have questions I can pass them along!
Wow, flea! The market is not like that around here, from what I can tell by for sale signs staying up.
It's hard to get a good look at the seating in those pictures. That's your sofa in the "Get the Look" at the bottom, though, yes?
Yep!
In the terms of that house. I kind of like the shingle trim on top of the cabinets.

I grew up in a small town nearby and also went to a nerd magnet school in Kalamazoo. I'm there frequently when I visit family.
While there is a conservative Christian element and some of my family members are Tea Partying it up, there are two colleges (Western Michigan University and Kalamazoo College), a theater scene, a museum and planetarium. The food scene is mostly American and Italian. Great beer, though. In the summer there are a lot of festivals downtown. It has an airport and an Amtrak station.
