Happy Persian New Year - No-Rouz Mobarak.
I had myself a great day yesterday. After getting my crown and working a couple of hours, I took the rest of the afternoon off. A friend and I went out to lunch, stopped at Soma for new bras and then went and got a massage. But we weren't done yet. From there we stopped by the library and then got pedicures. We came back to my place and watched Frozen, which she hadn't seen before, so there was the added bonus of watching her discover the amazingness of Frozen.
Now I just need to get through today's work, pack the car, take care of a few chores and we are on the road to vacation!!!
I will take pictures of them when I get home. I am pretty sure it was Lee who gave them to me, if I am wrong I am so sorry.
I went outside to put money in the parking meter, even though it's cold and raining. I think I deserve a gold star.
Also, I got an email from one of the jobs that I applied to, saying that they invited an initial round of candidates for interviews, and I was not in that round, but that, if they can't fill all the positions from those people, then I will be in the next round. I have no idea what I'm supposed to do with this information.

Ah, my favorite thing: I sent an email to a group. Someone wrote back to all saying a whole nother piece of work needed to be done. I wrote back to all asking who would be doing that piece of work (because it damn sure isn't me and everyone should know that), and..... crickets.
My boss is having an angry conversation with his wife (I think) on the phone.
I hate being around angry people--it makes me really uncomfortable. Even when it's nothing to do with me.

Is this the holiday where all the Persian gather in a park and have picnics and make generally awesome revelries? There was a park in Irvine where everyone would gather in Spring and it was always so much fun to go.

I'm gonna disagree with that. I think anger is okay, but it's very easy to express in toxic ways.
