All sorrows can be borne if you put them into a story. Tell me a story.

How far into it will she get before it sounds like rock and/or roll?

"You can't put a price on the joy of not giving a shit." -Zenkitty

I met up with friends for brunch, picked up some things at Target, and then made a ton of wheat berry salad with roasted beets and goat cheese. Now I'm trying to convince myself to do my taxes. I know it actually won't take that long, but I don't wanna. Maybe if I bribe myself with Jameson and peanut butter cups.

I remember the crazy days. 500 posts an hour. Nubmer! Natgbsb

Just saw a program (from these VHS tapes from the 80s I found) and Charlie Sexton was on one and I cannot get out of head how he looks so much like a certain female model. cannot place my brain on a name though. I am thinking red-hair or reddish hair, slicked back or cut short. anyone?

I went on a mad google hunt of ridiculous search terms and I think maybe who I was thinking of is Stella Tennant.

I must obey the inscrutable exhortations of my soul—Calvin and Hobbs

I planted 21 hardy geraniums (just the bare roots) this morning and met up with a bunch of college-era friends for a picnic this afternoon. A great use of a mid-60s sunny day. Monday we're expecting ice, but whatevs.

I've started getting Linked-in invitations from industry vendors. I get it, but it'd feel a lot less icky if they'd wait at least a week after my boss's death.

I just found out that my grad school scenic design professor passed away yesterday. Do svidaniya, Larry Kaushansky.

hip deep in pie

I think the Journey song is "Faithfully."

I have a 10 year old sofa that I got in a Sears Outlet. It is the more comfortable, and the seat is deep so it is perfect for napping or sleeping. (My sibling refuse to sleep on the futon I have because the couch is more comfy.) but a few springs have broken, so I need to replace it. I don't think I will ever find something nearly so perfect.

Also, I am still haven't heard any word about the Hague job, so I've been holding off on buying anything big.

Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

Sue, can you have the broken springs replaced? There's a furniture refurb place here that does things like that, maybe there's one around where you live.
