Today was a hell day (well minor hell - people on this board going through a lot worse). Today was one of my regularly scheduled injections in my eye. And shortly before my ride was scheduled to show I managed to do something my hip while tying my shoe. Agony to walk and to sit. Since the injections are important to saving my sight, I was not about to skip them. So painful 45 minute ride to doctors office. Followed by having to sit and ignore the pain while doctor put a needle in my eye. Flinching would have been disasterous. So I got home about 3PM. Was finally able to do some stretching exercise and walking which seem to have helped a lot. Can now sit again, though still get the occasional sharp pain. Will call the doctor Monday to find out how to figure out what is going on. But very unfun day.

OK, Typo, "injections in my eye" sounds like a big fucking deal no matter how you spin it."Otherwise painful injections in my eye": gets the big sympathy, no questions asked. That sounds like a very difficult day.

ISTG going out for drinks with work people is fucking weird no matter how you slice it. At least the girl that is leaving has my number now? And I could walk home from the bar, which might not have happened...fuckin' A, what a scene. But now I am home. And the animals are fed and inside. So, Friday, accomplished? IDEK.

I am doing that thing where I close one eye to deal with the world and I think DirecTV is getting the better of me.

At work at 6:30. We are now almost halfway done with the shipping, so it will not be a bad Sat, but still, Sat at 6:30 is not worktime in my brain, it is sleeptime.

My the goddess grant me the serenity to get through this day. CJ didn't get done/finished what he promised to do last night. The living room is cluttered with his crap. And his room is still only 50% packed. I got mad, he got pissed, I tripped over something of his and have already wrenched my knee and back.

Anti-anxiety meds here I come.

Well, if he doesn't pack it before you turn in the keys, he gonna lose it.

Brilliant sunrise this morning. And then it got grey for market, but appears to be clearing up again. Gotta do some errands and yardwork (largely cleaning up all the neighborhood's recycling that took to the wind last week.) Soon as sandwich finishes.
