Kaylee: So how many fell madly in love with you and wanted to take you away from all this? Inara: Just the one. I think I'm slipping.

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

I made salt caramel shortbread tarts for Pi Day. Hopefully I will not eat them all before the official baking celebration begins.

I found out yesterday that the hairstylist I used to go to in Prague is now a celeb/fashion hairstylist now. Crazy.

There will be pie later. There always is here.

information libertarian

We are having pizza for dinner, and apple pie made in our pi dish ( [link] ) for dessert. And then we'll probably watch Cosmos. I LIKE this plan!

'we all walk this earth feeling we are frauds. The trick is to be grateful and hope the caper doesn't end any time soon"

brenda, I endorse your notion of going for a pie to positively reinforce not flipping out like a mammal. Pie under these circumstances is totally justified.

You were a wrong baby who grew up wrong. The wrong kind of wrong. It's better you hear it from a friend.

ETA: Good thing brend isn't a college student, their Old God Coverage goes through the roof, I hear.

This is why under Obamacare, students can remain under their parents' Old God coverage. (Prudent parents will have purchased the King in Yellow rider.)

Oooh! I can have home-made pizza for lunch for Pi Day!

All sorrows can be borne if you put them into a story. Tell me a story.

I can report that expired-by-three-years Sudafed does work but only for six hours, not twelve. And somehow, the drugs that make most people sleepy leave me wide awake. I think I may call in sick today. If I venture out for more drugs maybe I'll get something pie-like.

this mess was yours / now your mess is mine

Wait, does Sudafed make people sleepy? It keeps me awake if I take it too late.

Sometimes. Sometimes it just makes me stupid. Sometimes it wires me up Sometimes it does all three at once. (Which is really unpleasant.)

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Now I'm sad because I have no pie. I guess I could have pizza for lunch or dinner.
