Angel: He is dead. Technically, he's undead. It's a zombie. Connor: What's a zombie? Angel: It's an undead thing. Connor: Like you? Angel: No, zombies are slow-moving, dimwitted things that crave human flesh. Connor: Like you. Angel: No! It's different. Trust me.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

I'm sorry, aurelia.

Man, Randall Munroe has been doing that What If thing long enough to put together a book and I have yet to read any of his answers. It's very possible I am living wrong.

Because books.

I'm sorry, aurelia. That's so hard.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

Im sorry, aurelia.

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

I'm sorry, Aurelia.

I remember the crazy days. 500 posts an hour. Nubmer! Natgbsb

HOLY SHIT.

The agency I adopted mac through is shutting down. Apparently they have been going down hill for several years, it seems mac's adoption was right at the turning point. There are accusations of fraud and unethical adoptions and they are filing for bankruptcy.

I just do not even know. I have emailed asking to be sent any files they have on him with info I may not have. I still have to send the Ethiopian government reports until hew turns 18, but now I will just do that directly to Ethiopia (means I cannot do it online anymore).

I need to probably research with other families a trusted person in Ethiopia that I can now use to try and find mac's family. crap.

I am so sorry, Aurelia.

Holy crap, msbelle! Can that affect your adoption?

Because books.

That's a little alarming.

yeah I am kinda freaking out even though it is really not gonna affect anything in my life, but it was the place I could say this is where our family came from - this place created that and here is their physical office and here is the physical orphanage you lived and now nothing. I guess it would be like if the hospital you had your baby in was torn down. I do not like things from my past going away.

ION - MUST FOCUS NOT ON THIS.

The following things have left my house the last few days:

3 pumpkins from the front porch (yes they were rotten inside and yes disposing of them was gross)
a large jewelry box
burned out CFL lightbulbs (well they will go out today or tonight - I discovered that Lowes will take them).
