yeah I am kinda freaking out even though it is really not gonna affect anything in my life, but it was the place I could say this is where our family came from - this place created that and here is their physical office and here is the physical orphanage you lived and now nothing. I guess it would be like if the hospital you had your baby in was torn down. I do not like things from my past going away.

ION - MUST FOCUS NOT ON THIS.

The following things have left my house the last few days:

3 pumpkins from the front porch (yes they were rotten inside and yes disposing of them was gross)
a large jewelry box
burned out CFL lightbulbs (well they will go out today or tonight - I discovered that Lowes will take them).

Back tattoos of the mother is that you are absolutely right - Ame

Now that I'm 3 days from moving I've had 3 light bulbs blow. How do they know?!?

Sue - will not affect anything. We are all done and legal as legal can be, but I think I will just get the last few things tidied up that I never did.

Ann, that's a ferret.

All sympathies, aurelia.

All sorrows can be borne if you put them into a story. Tell me a story.

Oh wow, msbelle. That's disturbing.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

The agency I adopted mac through is shutting down. Apparently they have been going down hill for several years, it seems mac's adoption was right at the turning point. There are accusations of fraud and unethical adoptions and they are filing for bankruptcy.

Yikes -- I got that email from them and wondered what was up.

We are Buffistas. This isn't our first apocalypse. -- Pix

I'm so sorry, aurelia.

and yikes, msbelle. I'm glad it won't have any legal affect on you or Mac.

I signed and returned my offer letter, so I guess I'm committed. It's so tempting to take the rest of the month off, but I promised my old boss I'd work until next Friday. And the money is money, after all.

this mess was yours / now your mess is mine

Holy fucking crap, it's snowing again. I was wearing shorts 24 hours ago, when it was in the 70s.

THIS IS NOT OKAY.

brillig

One nice thing about the view from the office, I can look down upon the freeway, where no one is moving for miles, and smile in superiority for taking a longer route that doesn't go anywhere near there.
