Can you postpone, -t? Or maybe by the time you're done there, you'll feel a little better?

Maybe they will massage your scalp and make you feel better, -t?
I realized that I do have to login to work tonight to do a thing, but I'm going to eat dinner first and have a glass of wine immediately after.
Ooh yes, I vote a scalp massage and a glass of wine...for everyone?
Guys, my main office pal is getting fired. As Director of HR, I have to fire her a week from Friday and I can't of course, tell her. Sometimes my job is NO FUN.
Oh man, that sucks. Is it for awkward "you suck at your job" reasons, or something easier?
I took a walk, had some lunch, came back and got in the pool, and then took a nap for a few hours and had crazy dreams--let me NOT recommend binge-watching Veronica Mars for calm dreams.
Thanks, dcp. I feel like a jerk now. I was so dure that I was being fed lies that I thought my own googling would yield nothing.
I feel like such a bum. Only worked 5 hours yesterday and 6 hours today. So not my normal hours. But I'm done with the dentist for a bit at least.
I go back to my foot doc after work tomorrow.
Also, all my kitchen cabinets are now empty. The counters are full of stuff to be packed, but still - empty cabinets.
I theoretically have rehearsal tonight from 8:45 to 10, but considering I'd have to leave the house at 8, and would probably arrive to find that the director decided "screw the schedule again", I'm not hugely motivated.
One scalp massage and haircut later, I do feel better. I might have a glass of wine now...
Hooray empty cabinets!
Is it for awkward "you suck at your job" reasons, or something easier?
It's for "we have a new owner and you have been really uncooperative with all the changes."
Boss had an interview she wanted me to be there for. I was there. Interviewee was there. Boss never showed. Never texted me that she was tied up and that I should proceed on my own. I did, eventually, and later told her that she'd left me in the lurch. She said sorry and then proceeded to list why she was tied up. And I'm still all: TEXT! She refuses all culpability and points to other things to excuse her behavior. Why would I assume that she'd be 45 minutes overlong with a prior appointment?
Boss blew off an interview? Jeez, juliebird, that's hella unprofessional.
Did you text her to see where she was? Because I'd be really embarrassed meeting with someone if my boss had just ... not shown up.
