Matt the Bruins Fan lives in northeast AR. I used to live in Ft. Smith, and I have relatives still in Fayetteville and Little Rock. Theresa lives not too far away, in either northeast OK or southeast KS.

Post from a genealogy contact near Magazine AR (about an hour's drive east of Ft. Smith) on March 03:

It is a mess here. Everything is closed down. We had three doctor appointments today in Fort Smith, will have to change those.... I can't see much from the porch light, but it is white, I think mostly sleet. We had freezing rain for a long time then it changed to sleet. It might have snowed a little on top but it's too dark to tell...

then later that night:

We ended up with about 2 to 3 inches of ice & sleet with a little snow on top..
