Angel: He is dead. Technically, he's undead. It's a zombie. Connor: What's a zombie? Angel: It's an undead thing. Connor: Like you? Angel: No, zombies are slow-moving, dimwitted things that crave human flesh. Connor: Like you. Angel: No! It's different. Trust me.

I am the fly who dreams of the spider

dcp, recent weather, last week. Regarding sleet bad enough to ground planes and make roads unpassable for days.

The more I learn, the more I realize how little I know.

Post from a genealogy contact near Magazine AR (about an hour's drive east of Ft. Smith) on March 03:

It is a mess here. Everything is closed down. We had three doctor appointments today in Fort Smith, will have to change those.... I can't see much from the porch light, but it is white, I think mostly sleet. We had freezing rain for a long time then it changed to sleet. It might have snowed a little on top but it's too dark to tell...

then later that night:

We ended up with about 2 to 3 inches of ice & sleet with a little snow on top..

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Argh -- this is why I need my routine: I left 10 minutes late this morning, and got into work a half-hour later than usual. The bus I take is supposed to come every 10 minutes! Ridiculous.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

The doctor's appointment I need for work counts as work time, right?

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

Seems like it should.

I think I have a hair appointment after work, but no one called me yesterday to confirm. Oh well, it's right down the street, if I show up and no one can cut my hair I can just go next door for Thai food.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

There was snow on the way to work today. And by snow, I mean, someone in heaven ripped open a bunch of feather pillows and dumped huge white fluffy things all over. Some of those flakes were the size of my palm.

We're getting rain today. Then it'll change to snow. 3"-5" of snow tonight and 1"-2" tomorrow, with high winds.

At least the snow won't last long, as it'll warm up again after the storm.

Has anyone seen my mountains? Two large mountain ranges are missing from Utah Valley. There is only a whole lot of grey when I look out our windows.

I'm trying to decide if it's reasonable to make me the point person to everything, or if I need to push back because I'm only one person and you all have a goddamn team dedicated for this, COME ON.

I think maybe this is contributing to my intense desire to run away and join the circus lately.
