And the thing is, I like my evil like I like my men: evil. You know, straight up, black hat, tied to the train tracks, soon my electro-ray will destroy metropolis BAD.

Punishingly Intricate

Bulby knobs.

I'm not actually sure! I saw it last week at Second Chance but I don't remember and now it's under a tarp on the porch.

Because books.

"This is the family I made!" is the Buffista mission statement.

Indeed. And it's still good.

I like the free standing tub with the surround, though it looks a bit sarcophagusy. Claw foots look like a bitch to clean around, and the ones that taper to the floor make me think unhappy thoughts about laboratories.

"And to be clear, I am the hell. And the high water."

If only that was its only problem.

WORD.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

Ooh, black exterior/white interior tub with the white walls behind it looks very pretty. I don't think I have seen that before.

not your mom's socks.

I am desperate to watch COSMOS and we cannot get it here without cable. No local affiliate that reaches the antennae. I am hoping it will go to amazon prime or iTunes or something. Quickly.

All this talk of bathtubs. I hate ours with a passion. It would barely qualifiy as a proper depth tub, even in the 1950s. It's basically an elongated, leaktastic shower base with ambitions. It's metal so it cools fast. It's darned uncomfortable to read in. And the entire plumbing system is equally sketchy. Every time we play 'let's look at houses even though we're not able to move' I judge every one by the master bath. Pretty much, everything else in the house could be rotten and covered with weeds as long as the bathtub is a soaking tub.

... with bookshelves.

Hubby's been looking forward to Cosmos. I hope he feels good enough to enjoy it.

edit: My serious boyfriend in college gave me a copy of the Cosmos book for a Christmas present. I still have it. And now Hubby loves the new one. Their birthdays are the same day and year. It's a tad freaky.

Neil just made me cry.

Me too.

Bob's learned to live with tragedy, but he knows that this tragedy is one that won't ever leave him or get better.

Cass, we are DVRing it, if'n you're interested. Of course, chances are it'll be available for streaming in a blink.

I want to come over after work tomorrow and watch with y'all. And play with the kids. Maybe paint our nails. 100 miles is too far. Especially when I don't drive those 100 miles often. I really should change that.

Why did Darth Vader cross the road? To get to the Dark Side!

Oo, I'd love that Cass! But yes, too far for a casual visit. But a gal can dream. Anyway, I meant we'd be keeping them on the DVR for a bit so the kids could see it too, but then I realized it'd be way way easier to just watch it in a day or two when it magically appeared online.
