Growing up Missouri, I heard "dresser" and "chest of drawers" interchangeably around the house, but I guess I SAY "dresser."

FTR, Trader Joe's Bacon Cheddar is just about as delicious as it sounds. Nom.
I was not that crazy about it! I mean, I liked it, but I guess I'd just as soon get smoked gouda or whatever in the future, and stick to my super sharp crumbly cheddars.
Anyone want to be my neighbor? [link] (Looking through through the lattice on the deck is the back of my house/deck.)
I really like what they've done with the space. I'll miss them, though. We mostly interacted doing yard/shoveling/leaves together. Kept the alley ship-shape. (lisah, believe Emily works with you.) I was surprised to see the sign go up, must get the scuttlebutt.
That's a really cute place, sara!
Wait, what? There's a new one already?
New as in came out earlier this week? (The last one came out a year ago, but I just read it a few months ago) Yeah. Half-Off Ragnarok.
Oooh. Off to the library I go!
I never used or heard bureau, know of and rarely use chest of drawers, use dresser because it easy to say. A highboy is on feet. A lowboy is not--or half the height of a highboy. Antiques Roadshow is educational!
I am not crazy about smoked gouda, so I guess it all works out.
There is so much I love about that house! Not to mention having sara as a neighbor and the delightful neighborhood it's in. And that price is making me wistful.
The price is great. And I love the kitchen and the bath. And the porch! I have house lust.
I personally love the gueyere cheddar combo. Also I am frightened to admit that I love the chocolate cheddar combo.
All our homes are the same basic footprint, it's fun to see how people change it (in this case, the biggie is that they've combined the two small bedrooms at the back-w/door to kitchen roof-into one.)
And the kitchen layout options. It isn't much space to work with. My house (all of them, actually) originally had the inset door and radiator at some point too. Brian still has his. I'm glad to have the real estate back from the door, but when it is below 20° out, I miss the radiator like whoa. When I renovate my kitchen, I think I'm going to look at putting in heat in the form of radiant heat floors (and insulate the fuck out of the walls and ceiling.) I'm pretty sure I want to keep the sink under the window. I like doing dishes, looking out at the sunset.
I'm so going to the open house.
