Someone's might, but I approve. And my Babushka really couldn't cook, so I'm sure she'd be fine with it.
I'll look at the recipe when I get home, it might be super easy. Some of them are. Dumpling recipes. But but mushroom ravioli in borscht sounds yum.
I had to do a new employee enrollment this morning that no one bothered to tell me about yesterday. Now I am behind on 8000 emails (approximately) and 3784 tasks (or there abouts) AND I JUST DO NOT WANNNA!
Yeah, I googled up a few that didn't seem complicated, but already rolling out dough so that it's thin enough for dumplings seems like A Lot.
I totally understand that.
If you can find mini raviolis or something, that would be best. They're LITTLE ears, after all.
Now I want to serve a Van Gogh meal of corn on the cob, borscht with dumplings, and hamentaschen.
I decided to stay home sick this morning while I waited for the Benadryl to kick in, and dragged myself into the office this afternoon. I'm trying to knock out a few things and triage my inbox, but I'm paralyzed with not caring very much.

As I typed ravioli, I was picturing tortellini, so that works out.
Now I want to serve a Van Gogh meal of corn on the cob, borscht with dumplings, and hamentaschen.
That would be hilarious!
Well, I hope you people are happy. Ukraina Deli did not have vushka but they (and by extension I) do have cabbage rolls, which are
almost
dumplings, and latkes, which are almost pancakes. And also a bunch of Ukrainian beer. So dinner is set.
But seriously, if I bought mushroom ravioli to go in my borscht, would someone's babushka strike me down?
The secret babushka mafia is going to be ALL UP IN YOUR BIDNISS.
Anyone up for FCM?
Oooh, me!
