this mess was yours / now your mess is mine

I'm having that embarrassing moment when I have to call my dentist and find out if my appointment is today or tomorrow, because I have it as today on my Google calendar, and tomorrow on the calendar in the kitchen.

And yes, they called last week to confirm my appointment, but when I realized the voicemail message was from them, I didn't listen to it past "We are calling to confirm your appointment next..." because I HAD WRITTEN IT DOWN.

Goooooo me.

Okay, it's today. They didn't even mock me for my inability to keep my calendars straight.

'we all walk this earth feeling we are frauds. The trick is to be grateful and hope the caper doesn't end any time soon"

Heh. "A woman with two calendars is never sure what day it is."

Fandom means never having to say "But where would I wear that?"

Timelies all!

Another day off due to snow here. Fourth this winter, third in 2014. Still snowing out. Bleh.

hip deep in pie

Whoopie was wearing essentially the same thing Julia Roberts wore to the Globes.

Jesse, I wondered why J-law was wearing Hilary Clinton hair too.

Art Crawl!!!

I need to go look at her hair. I liked her dress. (Looked at the Oscar Red Carpet pictures on the NYT website.)

Ooh, the temp has gone UP to -2.

I was getting money at the bank this morning: the pen was so cold the ink wouldn't run properly and a woman getting cash next to me offered me a ride to work. (Crappy weather - bringing out the niceness of random people.) She reads the almanac and she said that March 10th would be warmer - still below normal for the season but not -0. Also, the river would crest on March 18th. Even thought not all the snow will be melted. So -- hope it out there.

Also, when she dropped me off she wished me a pleasant day and I said that she had already made it pleasant. (Plus, I like being wish a pleasant day more than say, a nice day.)

Art Crawl!!!

Also - in another way that people can counterbalance the suckiness: Lunch Angel pays delinquent lunch accounts and Feed the Future Forward - for same.

Our temp had DROPPED 11° in the last couple hours. It's 16°. UHG.

I just messed something up at work. Which would not have happened had I been at work. Because I have a GIANT POSTIT ON MY SCREEN THERE.

I hate working from home.

If only we had a 16 degree temp.

I suppose if you are further east than I am, sarameg, you can look forward to subzero temps in the next couple of days.

I remember the crazy days. 500 posts an hour. Nubmer! Natgbsb

I miss hanging out with friends already! Work is much less fun.

Also, heat is not working in the office. It is now 65 degrees in here. It is month end, so we have to get stuff done, but I think we will all leave as soon as we have done the minimum.
