Goat pot roast turned out very well indeed. I need to look up at that stock you can make out of bones that have already been used for stock, see if that's a real thing or something I made up. And if it's real try it out with these bones. Because yum.
Aaand MD Ys have decided to be closed tomorrow unless there's a change in the forecast tomorrow. Damnit.
(I realize, small potatoes. But it isn't good when the Ys decide not to even try to open at the usual time. They're pretty hardass-not counting the daycare.)
Meanwhile, NYC has downgraded the forecast from Winter Storm Warning 6-12" OMGWEAREALLGOINGTODIE to...1-2" dusting.
I assume this is because I brought my work laptop home in advance of what was supposed to be another Polar Vortexmageddon, so, you're welcome.
I brought mine home; still at 6-12" Uhg.

I have what is probably one of the shallowest first world problems--my new desk is too big. I've got a little under-desk file cabinet to left and right. The left-hand one is in arm's reach. The right-hand one is out of reach and I have to roll back to reach it--which can be really annoying if I'm typing and need something.
Yes, yes, put the stuff in the left hand cabinet, but I'm right-handed and I've reached for these items with my right hand for eight years.
